MEET THE ARTIST:

Dongi Lee is a pop artist from Seoul, South Korea. He is best known for his character named Atomouse. This character is a combination of Atom, from Japanese animation, and Mickey Mouse, from American animation. Dongi uses Atomouse to bring lightness to heavy topics, and show the conflict between fiction and reality, as well as cultural convergence.

 These artworks the progression of Dongi's character "Atomouse" from 1999 to 2017.
