Activity 13: eARTh Day

I love eARTh day! Here is a project I wanted to do with you at school, but maybe you and your family can try it at home together. 

 Materials:
  • paper
  • plate to trace a circle
  • coffee filter, tissue paper, paper towel, or facial tissues
  • markers and water, watercolor paint, tempera paint, or food coloring
  • Explore with materials you have at home!
Here is a demonstration video:



Use ink pads, paint, or markers to make thumbprints around the earth. Let them dry. Then use a marker, pencil, or crayon to turn the thumbprints into things you love about the our amazing home, earth. 


¡Me gusta el día de la Tierra! Aquí hay un proyecto que quería hacer contigo en la escuela, pero tal vez tú y tu familia puedan intentarlo juntos en casa.

Materiales:
