Activity 4: Save a Life Art Contest
Dear Families:
We love art contests in art class! Here is an art contest that provides you with a wonderful opportunity to save lives and to win an Apple MacBook or Tablet. And, to have your art displayed at bus stations in Las Vegas!
Are you ready for a creative challenge? Then here you go:
Instructions:
Outside Bus Stop Poster Requirements:
1. The message of the project needs to focus on walking
safely in a crosswalk. You may include pedestrian
facts and/or pictures.
2. The text used in bus shelter advertisements must be
short, so passing motorists can see and read it.
3. You must use portrait format for your design.
Inside Bus Stop Poster Requirements:
1. The message of the project needs to focus on walking
safely in a crosswalk. You may include pedestrian
facts and/or pictures.
2. Inside-bus posters have no maximum test length and
are to be seen and read by bus passengers.
3. In-bus designs should be in landscape layout to fit
holders in the bus.

Your project may be created using the art medium of your choice: markers, crayons, paint, mixed media, and digital art.
The size of your artwork should be no larger than 12" x 20" (" means inches).

First Prize (Outdoor Design): Apple MacBook
Second Prize (Inside-Bus Design): Tablet
Winning posters will be seen on bus shelters and in RTC buses! You could be famous!
Submission Guidelines:
Due: April 24th, 2020!
1. On the back or your work, write:
- Your first and last name
- Your grade level
- Teacher's Name
